Pronouns: He/Him/His

What makes Richmond a great place to be out?: Richmond is a place where history meets change. It's incredible to see how much Richmond has changed in the past few years. We have so many LGBTQ focused groups and activities and that's not where it stops. The whole town has an accepting and welcoming nature. It's a great city with a lot of character and I feel comfortable being who I am here.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the Richmond Region?: To check out some of the new restaurants opening up and getting a fancy cocktail.

What do you do here?: I own a marketing agency called Design By E Llc. near the downtown Farmers Market. In addition to that I volunteer and actively participate on different boards in different industries including the Richmond LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce.

What’s your favorite restaurant?: Don't make me pick!!! But here's a few I love: Tarrant's (great selection and lots of options but mainly Italian inspired), Wild Ginger (amazing Asian Infusion), Azzurro (good simple Italian), The Daily (for when you're feeling healthy), Sabai (great cocktails and bites).

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?: Richmond is unlike anything you've experienced. It's a great place if you love food, drinks and being outdoors. There's lots of great neighborhoods to just walk around and get lost in. Honestly, one of the nicest things about Richmond is the architecture so it's not uncommon for people to find themselves lost because walks along the city can take you to some really interesting places.

What's your favorite store?: You don't need a favorite store when you have places like Carytown full on little unique shops!

How do you spend your free time?: With my dog teddy, hanging out with friends and eating out.

What's your favorite neighborhood?: I love my neighborhood in Short Pump, but spend quite a bit of time in Church Hill.

Anything else you would like to add?: I am not originally from RVA, in fact, I was born and raised overseas. I am happy to call Richmond my home.
