What makes Richmond a great place to be out?: Richmond is a very open and accepting place to live. Everyone is friendly and kind and willing to get to know you.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the Richmond Region?: I’d say hang out with my husband and our friends.

What do you do here?: I’m a teacher; about to start my 13th year; this time teaching kindergarten.

What’s your favorite restaurant?: If my husband were to answer he’d say Applebee’s...however I’ve learned that chain restaurants are not the way to go in RVA! I’d say Northside Grille.

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?: Come with an open mind, heart, and most importantly, an open stomach!

What's your favorite store?: I actually dislike shopping sooooo much, however I LOVE Kroger. Haha my friends make fun of me for that!

How do you spend your free time?: I have a running list of shows I’ve watched during quarantine, however it’s been growing way before COVID-19.

What's your favorite neighborhood?: I LOVE Church Hill. I used to live there, years ago and the food, the culture, and life it provided was amazing

How do you describe our LGBTQ community?: Very open. There’s no lack of diversity in RVA.
