What makes Richmond a great place to be out?: Richmond is a great place to be out because I feel accepted everywhere, from the river to the Farmer's Market, to the Capitol.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the Richmond Region?: My favorite thing to do in Richmond is going to Babes on a Saturday night to dance and hang out with my friends. I also like playing kickball on Sundays with Stonewall Sports Richmond in the fall.

What do you do here?: Software Developer

How would you describe our LGBTQ community? I would describe our LGBTQ community as passionate, loving, proud, fearless.

What’s your favorite restaurant?: My favorite local restaurant is Bo Dillaz. I've been going there since they opened and their quesadillas are still as good as they were back then, if not better!

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?: I would tell them to go to Legend Brewing and have a drink on the patio for a great view of Downtown, to go to the Pipeline for a cool river hang, and to go stroll down Cary St.

What's your favorite store?: My favorite local store is Higher Education. The staff is super friendly and very willing to help.

What's your favorite neighborhood?: My favorite neighborhood is Jackson Ward because there is an energy in this area that isn't present in other neighborhoods. Also, I'm only 3 blocks from Barcode!

Anything else you would like to add?: I feel lucky to have 3 gays bars in this small city, and especially that Babes is one of the last Lesbian bars in the US. While we are not done supporting our black and brown siblings, I feel the fire to fight in our community. Black queer lives matter!
