Check out these events to keep you entertained in RVA this summer.

1. Psycho Beach Party at The Richmond Triangle Players

Charles Busch's off-beat and off-kilter smash-hit off-Broadway comedy takes the stage at Richmond Triangle Players’ 23rd Season, opens Thursday, July 23 at 8 pm.  In this campy production, Chuck, a teenage tomboy, desperately wants to be part of the surf crowd on Malibu Beach in 1962. 2. ANIMAL Dance Parties

ANIMAL is a queer-friendly DJ collective based in Richmond throwing "dance parties for humans."  And super rad dance parties at that.  On July 25, they bring Double Duchess to Richmond and on August 1, Home Body, Toxie Moxie, and Skirts join ANIMAL resident DJ Connie Sue at Strange Matter.

3. Queens of the Night at Altria Theatre

Hello, hello, hello.  Some of your favorite and most fabulous queens from Ru Paul's Drag Race are coming to Richmond for one night only.  Join Detox, Jinkx Monsoon, Pandora Boxx, Pearl, and BenDeLaCreme on August 23 at 8 p.m.  For tickets and more information, click here.

4. Saturday Salutations at the VMFA

What better way to start your Saturday morning than a group yoga session led by Project Yoga Richmond in the Virginia Museum of Fine Art's sculpture garden?  Classes are free and open to the public with donations accepted.  Check them out on 7/25, 8/8, 8/22, and 9/12.
