Why do you love Richmond?

It is a thoroughly livable city with rich arts and culture, fine food and a depth of history. The weather is (mostly) gorgeous ... you have never seen spring until you have seen it in Richmond.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Richmond?

I love to go to Richmond Triangle Players of course ... and see a great play or musical, or a fabulous cabaret entertainer! It's the only LGBT-focused theater in the entire mid-Atlantic regions!

What do you do here?

I am managing director at Richmond Triangle Players (ok, I wasn't being objective about my love for the place!) and community arts leader.

What’s your favorite restaurant?

Currently in love with Dutch & Co. But I am fickle.

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?

Come visit us! You will be surprised at how wonderful, welcoming and inclusive we are!"

What's your favorite store?

How can I pick amongst all the treasures in Carytown? If you don't visit there, you haven't shopped in Richmond.

How do you spend your free time?

I love walking along the James River ... or seeing a show and visiting a gallery.

What's your favorite neighborhood

I adore Church Hill (where I live), the oldest "hot" neighborhood in Richmond ... and Scott's Addition (where RTP is located) for being the newest "cool" place to hang out!

How do you describe your community?

Richmond is a place of diverse people and attractions, which old southern welcoming charm. You don't know what a hug is until you get one in Richmond.
