What makes Richmond a great place to be out?: The chance to exist in a variety of queer spaces and be surrounded by a vibrant city full of history and opportunity

What’s your favorite thing to do in the Richmond Region?: Reading on the rocks at Belle Isle. The city skyline against the river on a warm summer day is pure bliss.

What do you do here?: Assistant Speech and Debate Coach at the University of Richmond

How would you describe our LGBTQ community? Evolving. It has made great strides especially with the recent protests in solidarity with BLM but still has a lot of work to do

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?: Explore as much as you can! From Cary Street to Maymont to the variety of museums, RVA has plenty to offer.

What's your favorite store?: World of Mirth since it has something in there for everyone and is perfectly whimsical

What's your favorite neighborhood?: Museum District because of the variety of architecture and access to so many unique places in the city

What's your favorite local restaurant and why?: Lemon! I love their paneer makhani and mango lassi

Anything else you would like to add?: Support your local LGBTQ+ organizations! Babe's, Stonewall, Diversity Richmond, Triangle Players, and more are all wonderful spaces to utilize and gather for a sense of community!
