What to Expect at PrideFest 2024

This year’s PrideFest is set for Saturday, September 14th, running from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bon Secours Training Center (2401 W Leigh St, Richmond, VA 23220). With more than 130 vendors, a variety of delicious food options, and a whole lot of fabulousness, it’s shaping up to be an event you won’t want to miss!

Introducing the Ultimate Sober Space

VA Pride is thrilled to collaborate with the McShin Foundation to offer the ultimate Sober Space at this year’s PrideFest. If you’re in recovery, simply prefer to enjoy the festivities without alcohol, or just want a chill place to hang out, our Sober Space is the place to be. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Mocktails & NA Bar by Point 5 – Sip on something sensational while you strut your stuff!
Shaded Seating – Cool off and chill out in style.
Sober Activities – Fun that’s fierce and fabulous!

2024 VA Pride Mainstage Lineup

Maybe you’ve already heard about our headliners, Tank and the Bangas, and performances by ‘90s dance divas Crystal Waters and Robin S., but the excitement doesn’t stop there! Our Mainstage lineup also features:

Mistress Isabelle Brooks and Kennedy Davenport from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Local musical talents like Weekend Plans, Landon Elliott, Bryce Bowen, and DJ Lez Pop.
Local RVA Drag Superstars including Alvion Arnell Davenport.
And as if that weren’t enough, the ‘King of Vogue,’ Deshaun Wesley—star of HBO’s Legendary and known for appearances on FX’s Pose and America’s Best Dance Crew—will be hosting our event!

Official Pride Week Kick-Off Party

Before PrideFest, kick off Pride Week with VA Pride and UGRC/Black Pride RVA at the Richmond Rainbow Gala (21+) on September 7th! Join us at the historic Hofheimer Building for a night of colorful celebration, featuring electrifying beats from DJs Statistics and DJ Tony-T, mesmerizing drag performances with host Melanin Monroe, and a "Most Colorful Outfit" contest. Enjoy rainbow-themed cocktails, capture unforgettable moments with our photographers, and contribute to our Charity Canned Food Drive for a chance to win prizes.
