What makes Richmond a great place to be out?: The LGBTQ community here in Richmond is inviting and there is always something to do whether it’s social and fun or helping others within the community. Richmond is a great place to live with pride and purpose.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the Richmond Region?: I love the festivals and markets around town. I make it a point to frequent as many as I can as often as I can!

What do you do here?: I work in Small Business Digital Services for Capital One.

What’s your favorite restaurant?: Phoenix Garden! The food is delicious and the service is always amazing.

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?: It’s a fun foodie city with plenty of entertaining events happening all the time.

What's your favorite store?: Ashby in Carytown is my fav! It’s so cute inside and they have a great selection of jewelry and other accessories.

How do you spend your free time?: I like shopping and going to festivals like the Afrikana Film Festival, Richmond Night Market, South of the James Market and Broad Appetit. I also am on the committee of BlackPrideRVA to help bring its Pride weekend to Richmond each year.

What's your favorite neighborhood?: Carytown!

How do you describe your community?: I would describe my community as very open and accepting.

Anything else you would like to add?: I have lived in Richmond since 2004 and it has been a wonderful place for me to create memories and lasting friendships.
