We were really happy when my Mom surprised me and came to our wedding in Vermont, September 10, 2011. She was skeptical about coming because she had such a hard time dealing with the fact I was marrying a woman. But in the end she said she knew I was happy, and that's all that mattered. -Nicole Gibson
