Why do you love Richmond?

That is it a "big" small town. A diversity of art and theatre culture life for a city its size, and all affordable and accessible.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Richmond?

Have lunch in the Amuse Café at the VMFA.

What do you do here?

Innkeeper.

What’s your favorite restaurant?

Amuse at the VMFA.

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?

It is surprisingly diverse and open for a city that was once the capital of the Confederacy. It has a surprisingly active foodie and creative scene.

What's your favorite store?

Mongrel in Carytown.

How do you spend your free time?

I enjoy movies at Movieland on Boulevard and the Westhampton on Grove.

What's your favorite neighborhood?

The Museum District.

How do you describe your community?

Open, creative, accepting, diverse.

Anything else you would like to add?

Richmond continues to surprise me. Why get on I-95 North to go to DC or NYC, when we have neighborhoods, restaurants, theatre, art, outdoor venues, and more right in our own back yard! I walk through the Fan and the Museum District all the time and think, "this is just like Brooklyn, and I'm in Richmond!"
