Why do you love Richmond?

Richmond is a beautiful, right-sized city. There is so much to do during each of the four seasons yet small enough to easily navigate. The mountains and the beaches are a short trip away and offer us so many options.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Richmond?

Just one? I love the James River Park system. It's great for hiking, biking, swimming, boating and just relaxing under a tree. The outdoors is where I always want to be so hanging at the river and then grabbing a bite on a patio afterwards sounds like a pretty perfect day to me.

What do you do here?

I am a project manager.

What’s your favorite restaurant?

I love the Galaxy Diner. They serve the best fried green tomatoes and veggie wraps in town.

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?

It's a great little city with something for everyone but you can't manage to see it all in one trip - there's just to much to do.

What's your favorite store?

I do love Carytown and Libbie...While we joke in my house about wanting to lay down on the floor and breathe deeply at For The Love of Chocolate I think my fave is Mongrel. Locally owned and operated, they have tons of way cool stuff and I can browse for ages.

How do you spend your free time?

I'm a wife, a mom and I work full-time so while I don't have tons of time we love going to the local festivals (and boy does Richmond have a lot), museums, parks, bowling, and more.

What's your favorite neighborhood?

I love Westover Hills but Bon Air is a close second.

How do you describe your community?

Richmond is a very diverse city. I'm super thankful I can live in a place where my family is treated like just another family.
